Can orders be emailed directly to me each time an order is placed?
Currently order information is downloaded from the GTS using ezimerchant Professional. The orders are downloaded using the latest in SSL encryption technology.
Current email standards make sending and receiving secure (encrypted) email difficult and complicated to set-up so ezimerchant Professional doesn't support this method of order retrieval.
There are also some advantages of receiving your order information within ezimerchant Professional. examples:
- Order information is stored in a database on your PC. This information can then be exported to popular accounting programs.
- Customer information is stored in a Customer Management database. This database can be used to bulk email your customers. The database can also be exported in to contact management programs such as Microsoft Outlook etc.
- Order information can be printed.
- The method of downloading the order and contact information is secure, quick and easy.
Note: ezimerchant professional can email you an order notification email and it can also email you a copy of the customer receipt email. This email contains the customer's name and address details and details of the products they ordered however it doesn't contain payment details for security reasons.
