How do I enable cookies and JavaScript in Netscape 7.2 (PC)

STEP 1

Open Netscape and click on the Edit menu and go down to 'Preferences'.

STEP 2

Click on the Privacy and Security section.

STEP 3

Click on the Cookies section.

STEP 4

Click on the 'Enable cookies based on privacy settings' option.

Note: If the 'Enable cookies based on privacy settings' option is already selected continue onto the next step.

STEP 5

Click on the View button.

STEP 6

Click on the Medium button.

Note: If the Medium button is already selected continue onto the next step.

STEP 7

Now that you have completed these steps click the OK button in the Privacy Settings window and then click OK in the Preferences window.

STEP 8

You should now close Netscape and then restart your PC.

STEP 9

As of January 1st 2008 the Netscape browser has been discontinued. No further development of this browser will occur. On Technology recommends you uninstall Netscape from your PC and install a more modern browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
