Your Unique Selling Proposition
At the end of the day, effectively completing all four steps may be your Unique Selling Proposition or your unique advantage over your competitors. However after succeeding in getting traffic to your site, you do not want to lose good prospects.
Buyers need to feel they you can trust you. You can assure them with;
- Giving them what they want. Don't make them hunt all over your website for the product. Let them find it easily. Put your leading product on the front page.
- A good site presentation (Good quality imagery etc.) dodgy looking sites belong to dodgy business people. This doesn’t mean you have to have a website to compete with Adobe or Kodak. You do however need to look professional or look like you belong to the industry your buyer is involved in.
- A return and privacy policy statements
- A Security statement
- Contact numbers and information.
A Unique Selling Proposition Suggestion.
Find Australian made products and take advantage of the Aussie dollar or indeed New Zealand or similar if you are able to source product from there. These compete over US made products at a fraction of the price US and UK prospects pay.
